They say the 8th squadron obtained strange powers during their conflict with ALTX, One of these powers, known as VOID, grants the user increased firepower once the user has satisfied ALTX's bloodlust.

Once the player reaches 20 CHAIN, the active captain's attack speed goes up drastically. Use this to clear out the pesky ALTX drones that are patrolling the sector.
